RACE
Join the Gilberts PTO in the 9th Annual Race for The Gold 5K run/walk. Help raise funds to support local youth programs, school supplies, and equipment for the Gilberts Elementary students. The 5K run/walk will start at Town Center Park and run through the beautiful streets of the Town Center Subdivision.

BENEFICIARY
All proceeds from the event help support local youth programs, school supplies and equipment for the Gilberts Elementary School students.

ENTRY
5K - $24.00 Before August 31st
1 mile - $12.00
Race Day $30.00/$15.00

EVENT SCHEDULE
Pre-Race Packet Pick Up - Saturday Sept. 12th 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Gilberts Elementary School
Race Day Packet Pick Up/Registration - 6:45 a.m. - 7:45 a.m at Town Center Park
5k Race Start - 8:00 a.m.
1 Mile Fun Run - 9:00 a.m.
Awards - 9:30 a.m.

AMENITIES
Shirts are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants. Shirts not guaranteed on race day. Food & refreshments will be provided. Check your kids in at the Kids Corral while you run the race - supervised by GES teachers and staff.

AWARDS
Top overall male and female and top 3 male and female age groups will receive awards. Age groups include 8 & under, 9-11, 12-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over

TIMING & SCORING
Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip provided, which will be attached to the back of the bib.

The objective of the PTO is to provide the students of Gilberts Elementary the  opportunity to achieve their fullest potential in a stimulating environment through the  cooperative interaction of parents, teachers, community members or organizations.  The PTO receives financial support for its programs and events through different  fundraising efforts. There are no dues associated with becoming a member of our PTO.
